Sam has amazing attention to detail and loves working with couples to come up with a custom cake to fit their special day.

Tell us all about your business? I started The Sugar Room as I love all things cake and sugar! I wanted to suit all sweet needs so that’s why I offer a vast range of cakes and sweet treats from your traditional tiered cakes to the amazing donut walls. There’s no one-size-fits-all with weddings and no two weddings are the same and I love that! I love creating for each and every one.

What’s your mission for every couple who chooses your business? I offer a very one-on-one experience with a face-to-face consult to get a feel for the couple and come up with something truly special just for them. Cake should be easy, beautiful, yummy and not a stressful part of wedding planning. And I pride myself on helping with this part of your special day.

Bonus tip about your business? I generally take all of my wedding consults and tasting appointments during my wedding off season (April-September) however this is not set in stone. I’m flexible with these appointments and they can be night time or weekends. I definitely advise booking in your date as soon as you know it and we can work out the consultation process from there.
